A colourist. Beata Murawska paints paradise gardens – meadows of colourful tulips, dreamy sleepy women. Her art is sensual – it is the affirmation of life and femininity. Nature is not her direct inspiration because the colours and forms in her paintings are the creations of her imagination and the flower compositions often aim at abstraction. Thick texture of paint and pure colours are put together into a harmonious entirety, a fleshy inside of a flower – Murawska conveys the emotions with essence and form.
